Business Workshops

ISANS has business workshops and seminars to help newcomers start and grow a successful business.

To attend business training workshops, you must first:

  • be a recent citizen, permanent resident or approved to immigrate
  • register as an ISANS client
  • meet with an ISANS business counsellor
  • have a minimum CLB 5

Classes and workshops takes place on-site at ISANS or online through our Online Learning website.

Event and Workshops Registration/Cancellation Policy

ISANS provides workshops to our clients for free or for a small fee.

  • You must register for all events you wish to attend. Those who arrive for an event but are not registered may not be permitted to attend the event.

  • For your registration to be confirmed, payment must be received prior to the workshop (if not free). 

  • If you cannot attend an event for which you have registered, please notify us as soon as you can.

  • ISANS will refund payment if given at least 1 business day’s notice prior to the event.

  • Events will start on time. Please arrive ten minutes early; you may not be able to access the event once it has started.

  • If an event is cancelled or postponed, ISANS will make every attempt to contact registrants using the contact information provided at the time of registration. Prior to the event, please check messages associated with any phone numbers and email addresses you have provided. Cancellation notice will also be posted on the ISANS website.
