New “Compass Dialogues” offer online space to discuss social movements

Launching on January 20, ISANS is starting a new discussion series called “Compass Dialogues.” Open to alumni of the Welcome Ambassador program, these free sessions will dive deeper into dialogue surrounding the global movements of Anti-Racism, Black Lives Matter, and Indigenous Lives Matter, and talk about how these movements relate to newcomers in Nova Scotia.

Building on the notion of a compass, these dialogues aim to help participants find direction and clarity of thought through active engagement around the complexities of these concepts.

Participants are welcome to join any or all of the sessions as each one will be different. The first sessions are on January 20, February 24 and March 17, all from 2:00 – 4:00 pm and will be hosted on Zoom.
