Online Town Hall Information Session for Internationally Educated Medical Lab Technologists (IEMLTs): Pathways to Licensure

In partnership with the Medical Lab Technologist (MLT) professional community in Nova Scotia – as well as at a national level – ISANS is conducting an information session about the pathways to licensure and support services available for internationally educated medical lab technologists (IEMLTs).

At this session, you will learn about:

• Current licensing pathways at the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science (CSMLS)
• The role of Nova Scotia College of Medical Laboratory Technologists (MLTs)
• Hiring processes and opportunities for MLTs and Medical Laboratory Assistants (MLAs) at Nova Scotia Health Authority
• Labour market demand for MLTs in Nova Scotia
• Educational programs and pathways for IEMLTs
• Atlantic Immigrant Career Loan Fund (AICLF) and ISANS programs and services
• Experiences of internationally educated MLTs
