Family Class Sponsorship – Thursday, May 13
Learn about sponsoring family members to come to Canada, including: sponsoring your spouse, partner, dependent children, parents, grandparents, or other relatives. Child Protection: Rights of Children – Thursday, May 27
This session will talk about a child’s right to be safe from abuse or neglect and the government’s role in keeping children safe. It will also cover the basics about when a child might need protection, parents’ legal responsibilities, the court process for child protection, and where to get support and legal help. Domestic violence is abuse that happens at home, within a family, or in a close, personal relationship.
