What is an ORIS Session?
An On-Site Recruitment Session and Information Session (ORIS) includes a presentation by an employer about their organization and career opportunities, followed by a 10-15 minute one-on-one speed interview.
Who is Canadian Tire?
As one of Canada’s most trusted and iconic brands, they build teams that dream big and work as one to deliver world-class customer experiences across their network of 1,700 retail and gasoline outlets. Their Automotive Tire and Lube Centres are currently looking to hire Automotive Tire & Lube Technicians. Key responsibilities include oil and lube service, tire installation, tire rotation and balancing and light vehicle maintenance and repairs. Communication skills and a good, working knowledge of most automobiles and light trucks are essential to succeed in this position. The Technician builds customer loyalty and retention through trust, workmanship and reputation.
Current Positions: (Part-time and Full-time at various store locations)
- Automotive Tire & Lube Technicians
- Knowledge of current automobile technology.
- Valid driver’s license for province of employment / Clean Drivers Abstract
- Experience in a similar role, in a Canadian Tire Automotive Service Centre, considered an asset.
- Ability to work effectively with computerized systems.
- Basic math skills.
