Join the Partners for Legal Education (PLE) for four free legal information sessions in classroom 18:
Family Law – Monday, October 16
Topics include family law issues including marriage, common law relationships, separation, divorce, custody and support.
Criminal Law – Monday, October 30
Topics include an overview of Canada’s criminal justice system and how to get legal help in Nova Scotia.
Landlord and Tenant Law –
Monday, November 13 New Date! Monday, November 20
Topics include landlord and tenant rights and responsibilities and how to resolve disagreements.
Family Violence – Monday, November 27
Topics include domestic violence issues including abuse and neglect, seeking help with these issues, and the role of Child Protection Services.
Child care and interpreters are available.
