Enas Jawad creates awareness through art

Enas Jawad was among the artists chosen to¬†display artwork at Halifax City Hall on International Women’s Day (March 8).

Her work, called The Glass Wall, was displayed during an event celebrating indigenous and racialized women in leadership.

Enas took the opportunity to “shine a light on the challenges that face Muslim women who choose to wear a Hijab in Western societies.”

Enas is a member of the ISANS Business Marketplace. She owns and operates Little Picasso Daycare & Art Centre. Little Picasso offers a unique Art-Enriched Emergent Curriculum where children of all ages can engage in age-appropriate and open-ended art projects on a daily basis.
