Call for Applications

Do you want to help shape the future of Nova Scotia? Join ISANS Board of Directors today! Apply Now

ISANS is currently seeking applications for the 2023-2024 Board of Directors. We seek individuals with board governance experience, lived experience as an immigrant and/or who hold leadership roles in the community or in your organization. This year we are particularly interested in candidates with a background in legal, communications, and/or persons who represent ISANS in our NS communities outside of HRM.

The ISANS Board of Directors is responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to the organization and maintains a clear distinction between Board and management roles, recognizing the interdependencies between them. The volunteer Board meets 8 times a year and members participate on Board standing committees.

ISANS is dedicated to inclusiveness, equality and accessibility. We seek talented individuals who represent the diverse community we serve and encourage applicants to self-identify the diversity you represent in your application. ISANS is committed to a barrier-free application process and encourages applicants to request any accommodation required.

For more information about the ISANS Board of Directors and the application process, please contact Rebecca Abou Rahal at rabourahal@isans.ca.

Please send completed applications for the 2023-2024 Board of Directors electronically by February 1st, 2023.
